I finally 'got' entrelac, pictures are on my blog, www.knittymumma.blogspot.com.
I also (this has been a challenge too) finally persuaded my DH to buy me a ball winder and have been making balls all over this place. Next month - lace!

Good for you for getting a ball winder as well. I still haven't managed to get one - keep spending all the money on yarn!
