Is a lace bookmark knitted in some leftover yarn. This was a great way to find out that I surly never never are going to knit a lace shawl! I stick to other things than lace in the future - AND I ADMIRE you all that actually have knitted lace i larger scale!

the bookmark is very cute. I said I would never knit lace again myself... but now I love it. Different strokes for different folks, as they say...

Merry Christmas to you too. =) Look forward to hearing about your experience with cables. They were my project last month, and I will definitely be doing more in the future.
The lace will eat at you and you'll begin to think, well . . . maybe and then . . . you'll cast on. That's ALWAYS what happens when you say never never--HA!

Oh no! I have a lace project I keep pushing aside just...because! I'm almost afraid to hear this now, but I think the bookmark is simply adorable and a wonderful first try at lace knitting. Very admirable!
