Without further ado, here they are!!

It's the starter stockinette pattern from the book "Knit Socks!" Done in worsted weight yarn (Wool-Ease, so they are washable). They are really thick and so freakin' warm!
Now I want to try socks in sock yarn, smaller needles, and maybe a stitch pattern on the leg. I feel so empowered!

Wow, this is great! Congrats on your "J", I knew you could do it! The socks looks great, and I love what you have done with the color on the heel and toe.
You ROCK!
Congratulations! Excellent job. You also have a lot more patience than I do! :-)
Good Job! Did you use dpns or magic loop?
Fabulous job! And congratulations on finishing so soon!
Love the heel and toe - super cute! Someday I'd love to do something like this myself but for now, I just stick to plain old boring stockinette :p
I logged in today to check out the new projects and saw everyone's nice comments on my socks!
Anniam, I used bamboo DPNs, a set of 5. The bamboo was really nice to work with as a beginner because it would have been nearly impossible for the needles to slip out.
Oh, and I've worn these socks a lot and even washed them (in the machine!) They are holding up beautifully and incredibly warm. They are too thick to wear with shoes, so I just wear them around the house as a slipper alternative.
