First Ever Sweater

I just finished seaming up my FIRST EVER SWEATER!! It was made with a bulky yarn, Trendsetter Savvy. I wasn't exactly sure what I would use to secure the edges while I sewed the seam. THEN, I noticed a #2 circular needle, all lonely and needing something constructive to do. I sort of basted the seam together by stringing the needles and cable through the seam. It made the sewing easy to complete and was simple to remove. That's probably something other knitters do all the time, but I've never seen that suggestion.
So, do I get an "N"? Annie.

I like that sweater. You should bring it to knitnite so we can see it up close and touch it and stuff. You could have at least waited until the 5th of the month to get your N, though. What are ya, trying to make the rest of us look like slackers or something? hee hee

Wow, what a great sweater! That looks like just the right thing to wear in my country theese days. Minus 1 degree Celcius and ice on the ground every morning. You have done a great job, congrats on your N!

The truth of the matter is that I have had the knitting done for a LONG time, but the sweater is so heavy and I'm nearing 50 . . . so, I had to wait until it got cool enough to finish it.

Hobbygasa: I grew up in Montana, it gets REALLY cold there too. I kind of miss that.
