This is my next project. More Legwarmers, this time practicing lace. Just from this swatch I've already learned how to read my knitting if i lose my place. I thought a 25 line lace pattern would be too complicated but decided to give it a try, but I think its going to be okay. Considering how long it takes me to knit, this will probably not be completed until November, or at least that is the goal. This swatch is really only half the pattern. The full pattern are repeating diamonds, but I figured I learned enough from this swatch that I could go ahead and start the project. I have another inch of ribbing to go before I can start the lace pattern on the first legwarmer, but Ive been taking the knitting to karaoke so Ive actually been getting a bit more knitting done per week than in the past. We will see how this goes.

Beautiful pattern and beautiful colors! I admire people that make a swatch before starting to knit on the project. I am alway so eager to start that I forget the swatch and ends up frogging a lot instead... And it seems that I never learn...I wish you luck, this will be great!
I am like Hobby, I never swatch. Sometimes I end up being sorry, but other times it works out. I love the colors and the pattern will be stunning.
