Here We Go...

Glad to be here... I'm relatively new to knitting, and there are so many things I want to try.

1. something on DPN
2. knitting with wire
3. something with multiple colors
4. an afghan
5. something for me to wear

The list could go on forever! I am actually working on my August piece- the DPN project. Tried socks and failed, but "Candy Bag" by NH Knitting Mama is joyfully do-able. I am using sz. 6 DPNs and Sugar 'N' Creme in a natural colored cotton.

I am fairly new to DPNs myself. I am still not a big fan of them, but I am not afraid of them anymore. I guess they just take practice.

DP needles are fun to use after you get the hang of 'em, though at first they kind of look like some medieval torture devise!

Can't wait to see your finished Candy Bag!

I've used DPNs now a few times and while I still find them awkward I am no longer deathly afraid of them. Can't wait to see your finished bag, it sounds sweet!
