Hi There!
My name is Paula.
I live in central Illinois with my Husband, Son
(who is leaving to go back to college in two weeks.) ,
4 cats and our basset hound Elise.
I don't have a list just yet.
But here is a 'new knitting something' I just started for my August project.
'Norwegian Mottled Socks', or something like that.
I have 2 books that I love "Folk Socks" and "Knitting in the Nordic Tradition."

I have been wanting to try the twine dying on sock yarn for a long time now and knit them in to knee socks to see how the pattern works out.
I am not sure how this is going to end up but it has been fun so far.
Looks like the color of peaches and cream.

Hey - I'm Norwegian!! I will look forward to see the FO. By the way, that dying looks fun. I have never tried it, maby that should have been on my list....
Very pretty, I can't wait to see them completed.
Twine dyeing? Never heard of it but I definately want to try it!
What are the details on the "twine dying" I am intrigued, would love to know more about it.
Dyeing yarn is completely foreign to me, but the colours you've come up with are beautiful! Can't wait to see the completed project.
The yarn looks great! What a neat color! And the socks look awesome so far! I can't wait to see the finished pair!
Oh, and since the twine dying was a new technique for you, I believe that you have officially earned the very first 'A' of this KAL!
